Nightfury vs Polluter cam dyno results

Attached are two dynos, one polluter one night fury. Nightfury is a friend of a friend's 13 1LE and my car has thr polluter and it's 14 1LE. Same shop, same dyno, different days. These were two cams I was stuck trying to pick one or the other. I thought it would be cool to show a comparison. My polluter also has a fluidampr underdrive crank pulley (does not underdrive the ac).

Damn close , and good numbers with 91 octane fuel . Too close to make much peak hp difference . Even though the same dyno , 2 diff cars and different days . on any given day they may be different . Would come down to drivability and real world time to speed. And I would pick the one that had slightly less lift that would not be so tough on the valve springs and cam . The way it drives would be the deciding factor .

Torque numbers aren't very impressive. Only 10-15 rwtq gain over a typical intake/headers/tune on an otherwise stock engine.

Yeah but it seems the polluter cam holds close to peak torque better than the night fury and for longer. Could be worth something.

Those torque numbers seem pretty good to me.. Larger the cam more horsepower up top but you sacrifice torque.

Got a dyno sheet from a relatively "stock" car by any chance?

Oh these are two different cars..... I was thinking it was a side by side. Not bashing or anything, but would need a comprehensive list of both car's mods, etc.

I first read it as a back to back comparison with the only difference being the cam.

That is how it seems to work. But I'm hoping my setup departs from the norm. I love horsepower, but it's nothing without torque. My goal is to break the 500hp barrier by a pretty good margin while also teasing it with the tq number. I'm gonna be running prc255 intake runner heads(vs the 260's to retain intake air velocity), stock intake manifold vs, say, the FAST 102(for the same reason), higher compression, high octane, 11.25:1 compression, and a custom 232/240 .654/.626" 110LSA +2 pat g cam motion cam. High intake lift in a short(er than other popular cams) duration and fairly narrow LSA should also help the tq numbers while not sacrificing hp too much. If I can break 500rwhp quite easily while also running 465-470 tq I'll be a happy camper.

Maybe you misunderstood why I posted these two. It is not about the numbers that's not why I posted the graphs. All of these larger cams are going to put down near identical numbers. However I wanted to show the small differences in curves and where they are making the power. Both cars have the same mods except I have the fluidampr crank pulley.

This is the dyno of my car before the cam. And you can see the oem cam is giving up the ghost much earlier and the new cam doesn't really sacrifice anything to the oem. Look at the difference in torque at 6500rpm between the polluter and oem, it's around 50ft lb of torque. The oem completely shot it's wad at 4700 rpm.

I'd like to see that. As well as a few others. But we'd need to see the pre-cam dyno numbers and have all the supporting mods as close to the same as possible.
