Small cases of them being on the forum here for sale. Doesnt hurt to troll the corvette forum in the C6 section. craigslist...ebay.... just gotta look. they are out there but not the easiest to find for super cheap

Found a knockoff site that has wheels you can order in c6 zo6 sizes and wheels are a little over $200 for 18x9.5 with 40mm offset. They have the zo6 replicas but think I might pick up a set of these, would look good with my 1LE wheels.

Grip

I have 17s with M&h drag masters and have a hard time getting 1.8 60s at Fontana when it's cool out. Last time it was in the upper 90s and 2.1 was my avg 60f and low 12s was my best.

Damn that's with the slicks? I swear they don't prep the track there at all.

M&h are drag radials not slicks. I learned the hard was drag radials can take so much. Best 60ft with mickeys is 1.60 hoping to improve that with a full slick tho

yeah I got about the same results in my 2010 SS too. However, I had to stop after the clutch started acting up. The pedal would get stuck on the floor and wouldn't come up unless the engine RPM's dropped; then it would pop up. 3rd run and it slipped so bad that it smelled really bad and I got a lot of clutch chatter and I was worried I'd not get home. Haha, waited till it cooled down, slipped the clutch a bit on a couple light take offs on the road, and it's normal again. Not going back to the strip again until I replace the stock clutch ... it is my daily driver afterall

mines on the far lane and this was the first time out in this car (bone stock with muffler deletes), lots of wheel hop and spinnage, using launch control. meh, I've been 11's in my other cars, so not really in a rush to get this thing in drag trim yet.

I didnt think 17's would clear the stock brembros. How much room do you have?

They clear but depending on your ride height and LCA they can hit the LCA under a hard launch.
