Here are a few pics. It was trashed. It originally auctioned for $16,800. I can only hope that whoever buys it did a search on the vin & knows what condition it was in.

By the looks of the picture of the car it was pretty much under water completely . All I see now is a electrical nightmare.

Also if any water got past the throttle body the motor would probably need to come apart completely to get it right again. Hard to believe some states let flood cars back on the road. I am tempted to watch the auction tomorrow @ 10:18 am. Usually people buy flood cars for resto mod projects & part the rest out. With the original auction price @ $16,800 I can't imagine what the reserve price is.

This car sold for just a few dollars over 39 grand! I cannot believe someone would pay that knowing that car had flood damage as bad as that one had. Someone is going to have a headache with it for sure.

Maybe the buyer is going to part it out piece by piece.
Or perhaps he intends to strip it down for a race car?

But for that kind of money??

I remember there was a similar CLEAN TITLE, low mileage twin to this local a few years ago, & the owner said he was having a hard time getting $29k because it was yellow.

Oh how the times have changed.

Something must have happened to the buyer of this car because it has been back on ebay for sale again. Something smells fishy on it because it got up as high and sold for the price as cars with good titles.

Only an imbecile with money to burn would pay 1/2 that much. It's a common scam on EBay: have a cohort bid against another to jack up the price.

Hard pass. These cars have enough issues with electrical stuff sometimes that adding water damage to the mix would not be worth it.
