It was my understanding the blocks were the same... Maybe someone else was confusing LS3 with LSA (LSA having piston oil squirters). All LT-V8s, if I recall, come with piston squirters and 12mm headbolts, which are some of the differences in blocks from the Gen IV days. LSA/LS9 blocks were also a different alloy.

Callaway isn't a great example. Look at the Callaway Camaro CSP had to fix for a customer.

700 wheel is about it with a oem lt. Keep in mind a blower puts more stress on the engine than a turbo/nitrous. The amount of power it takes to spin blowers pulls from the overall output

I had an LT4 fuel system on order from Summit and was going to send mine to CSP for tuning, but I sold it and went C6Z instead.

I need to find that CSP youtube episode to watch. You aren't going to get any dealer to fix the heads, that's on you after purchase or find one already fixed. Even the brand new crate engines that GM is still producing aren't fixed.

I have been supercharging the LT1 since 2014 hundreds of cars across the globe with every different supercharger on the market including a few turbo systems. There is no boost number or HP number anyone can definitively say is the limit. I have been very good at doing a lot with a little via careful design parameters when building a project. It is really all about what you are willing to spend, how you will use the car, what fuel you will burn. Octane will be your biggest Limiter of power on any combination. Lets face it everyone wants 1000 RWHP on 93 octane and a 10 K budget. Then realty sets in when the engine fails. I have done a host of Stock Long Block LT1 at 750 RWHP on E-60 fuel and they have run and run and run for many years now. So the fuel, Cam, Blower, Exhaust, intake, tuning, fuel system, are all part of the package. Ted.

I know that...still didn't want to spend 38k on a car and have to pull it apart to fix the heads.

Totally understand that, it sucks that the LS7 is so flawed.

I'm still trying to figure out why they(I think RPM) couldn't make a 103mm tb fit on it with some type of a machined adapter or spacer to get them the clearance needed. They gave up easy if there was really more power there.
