... Screw a ZLE competitor, give us a Drag Pack option like you could get in the 60's. Dodge has layed the groundwork and proven the concept is profitable.

I know quite a few GT350 owners, with the exception of 1, none are real car guys. None know what it can and cant beat on the track, the OPG issues, engine issues, and no fix in sight, clueless on all of the important factors(as car guys) of the car.

They buy the car because it sounds and looks cool, and the same will go for the GT500, with the exception that it better compete at the 1/4 mile.

A 1/4 killer and boulevard bruiser are the only things this car needs to be to sell well, and for many that won't matter either.
You guys have nailed it.

I am very curious to see of they release an R version, what they do there, and if they decide to chase the ZLE and how much more expensive than the GT350 does it have to be?
This is a pretty honest unbiased and most likely result.

Think that sums it up for many cars, IMO, most owners are not going to invest in decent traction to even 1/4 mile well and don't know about all tracks but my local 1/4 mile is now an 1/8 mile most of the time and track prep ranges from NONE to spotty to pretty good. I go down to Houston and that track prep is great and it they are 1/4 miles.

Yes they did... both of them.

How long has it been since Camaro showed off the drag pack edition and all we have is performance parts that no one buys or even pays attention to.

Throw the LT5 in a straight line edition that looks cool and we will see ADM all over the place.

I'll repeat that it does not matter how many of them are sold if GM is still making enough of a profit off the ones that did sell to justify their continued production. Quite honestly, to me it looks like they sell well enough. I for one do hope they continue making them. Plus it shows exactly what GM can do with the Camaro and how far behind they can leave the competition.

To improve the 1LE sales GM should have throw the A10 in as an option and the sunroof. I can sacrifice one of those things but not both. So that is the main reason why I haven't traded my ZL1 in for a ZLE.

Absolutely. If they’re selling (discounts or not) enough of them to make money, no enthusiast of any brand would want them to cease production.

Demons, 1LEs, BrownEyes, Rs, ZR1s, etc...

All a good time.

700+hp, 7500 rpms, and an ultra quick shifting automatic, this thing is going to be brutal. Hopefully they put enough tire under it.

Yup. Beautiful images. Confirms 7DCT. No hp or performance numbers.
