Does the zl1 1LE splitter sit a little higher than the original C7 Carbon zl1 splitter? I just cracked mine so may need a replacement.

The fitment is literally perfect. The ONLY problem I had were with the end caps. One side fit just fine but for some reason, the opposite side bolt holes were only half threaded so the screw would just stop half way. I used a drill and I used an impact driver, but no luck. This is an amazing splitter and it looks badass. Other than the end caps, this splitter is perfect! I highly recommend!
Looks Great!! Any way you could get a picture of the splitter with the entire car in the frame? Thanks!

I am interested in one of these for my HBM 2SS. I think it would make sense to cover it in PPF before installing it. Generally, would this help to prevent some rock chips from damaging the clear coat? Can you estimate what size piece of PPF would be needed to cover the width and entire length of the piece? I would like to drape a single piece of PPF over the entire surface from the top (against grill) to the bottom (under the car).

Looks good! Can you get a picture of the splitter with the whole car in the frame?
