Power Steering Failure

Bought the car about 2 weeks ago. 2017 SS Conv. In the shop now for the transmission shutter.
Main reason I took it in was I’ve had a Power Steering Failure Warning pop up and no power steering twice now. I can still steer but it’s very difficult. I pull over as soon as possible, turn the car off and back on and all is well. Anyone else have this issue? The service dept tells me there are no codes so they can’t diagnose

Go somewhere else then, nothing worse than a lazy trash dealer.

If service writer doesn't cooperate, ask to see the service manager.

I've noticed the no.1 culprit is the torque sensor being defective.

No.2 Main power plug at rack motor not fully seated. You could check that yourself if you want.

Check that no pins backed out of the plastic connector.

My dealership stated that they only recovered a low power failure code C0800, but has done the TSP and ensured that it is in my repair records.
