Arrow C7 vs 6th Gen | The RWHP and RWTQ debate is OVER | JDP Motorsports

JDP Motorsports is proud to bring to you, the 6th Gen Camaro SS Manual vs. the C7 Corvette Manual, on the SAME dyno, on the SAME day, running fuel out of the SAME can. Thanks to Riverton Chevrolet in Sandy UT for allowing us to trailer a new C7 over to JDP for testing.

You saw it here first!! No more guessing or speculation! Congratulations 6th Gen owners! Both cars made 3 pulls, were allowed to cool and then ran a 4th pull. Both cars best run was the 4th pull, ironically. Looks like Little Brother gets the bragging rights on power output!

We are currently in development of upgrade packages for the 6th Gens and we are already doing big things on the C7 Corvettes. We look forward to working with more of you as JDP Motorsports continues to establish itself as THE go to, Late Model GM Performance Experts!

Please call, email or PM us anytime! Have a great day!

All the best,

Jared Royce

Wow 421 to the wheels is certainly impressive considering the weight of the camaro, I'm wondering how much the automatic will dyno at vs the manual

That was awesome. 4 more hp and over 8ft/tq is still impressive. That video will get a ton of hits. So if on Dyno the SS is putting out 4 more hp and 8tq over the 460hp Vette, then the SS is pushing 465hp and near 470lbtq.

After the Vettes first pull, we thought the Camaro was going to SMASH the Corvette but after the cars had both made their 4th pulls, after some cool down, things were a little closer.

Still, pretty freaking awesome to see a Camaro make more power than the Mighty Corvette.

Interesting results. Thanks for doing the test.

I wonder how big an impact the C7 being an M7 vs the 6th gen being an M6 had on the numbers.

Usually you'll do the pulls in the 1.1 gear. Probably 4th, maybe 5th in the c7. I know that's how we did pulsl on my supercharged g8 and my c5 corvette. Whats impressive is that my g8 with a Maggie made 451rwhp with the standard rear serpentine style belt and 479 with overdriven cog drive. So, those are amazing numbers. Obviously mine g8 would have made more with a tko instead of the 6 speed auto. So, can't wait to get my 16 Camaro sometime in Feb.
