The heated steering wheel works completely independent. There is a switch for it right above the cruise control.

Stripes are an LPO, dealer installed.

But are factory installed if on original order.

Picture of the car at LGR I posted about a month ago.

Yes, stripes can be applied on at dealers, but I think it can also come from GM if you order the car with it.

My heated steering wheel works, but in my case, it's the driver's side heated seat that doesn't work. Passenger's side seems to work fine.

One thing I was not aware of that I see in that photos is that the center stripe option runs the length of the roof as well. I was aware the Rally stripes were not on the roof but didn't know the center stripe was.

In the last pic, I can see a white one with black rally stripes on the roof. I wonder if that is a "custom" user preference?

no, what you are seeing is the white antenna thing / shark fin on top, creating the illusion. its a solid center stripe tho.

I wish the rally stripes could be ordered on the roof too, it looks odd without anything up top.

I took the Camaro into the dealer today for the heated steering wheel not working. Turns out, it wasn't plugged in under the airbag in the steering wheel. Not sure how exactly that happened, but glad it was something simple. I suspect that type of thing means there are others out there with the same issue that maybe someone didn't know or forgot to do on the line that day...

Just wanted everyone to know the resolution.

Totally agree, I never really liked the sticker stripes on my 2010, they just never look "good". The edges always look ragged no matter what..
Pull them and have them painted. I know.. kind of a pain.

On my 2010, I didn't get the clear bra on in time and the front already had dings and chips, so I figured I'd give it a few years and when I had the front clip redone, paint the stripes.

Hadn't planned on trading up in 15' but I'm not broken up over it.

Anyone else have issues with either the heated steering wheel or stripes on their new Camaro? They both will be warranty issues, but given all the holds for quality control, I expected a bit better review of these type of things before leaving the factory. Still a great driving car and a much improved experience from my last 5th Gen.

Thanks!

a bit off topic, but did you use a filter on this pic? The yellow looks more orange than usual... I LIKE IT!

The pic definitely has some sort of filter on it based on the contrast and reflections in the car. Probably used HDR.

Yes, I did use HDR.. Good call there. I prefer the yellow to be darker like in the HDR photo, but the reality is that it is a lighter yellow in person.. but differs somewhat on the light.
