Any chance you could share the service part number of the upper stick for those who already have the shifter?

The reduction in throw when compared to the SS/ZL1 shifter is 40%.

I checked the installation instructions for both shifters and the upper stick for either shifter is installed from the top, inside the vehicle. Yes, it can be exchanged from within the vehicle. If you purchase the Hurst Billet/Plus with the white Hurst shift ball you will still need to purchase the upper stick adaptor that is used to mount the OEM shift knob. I am still working with production in an attempt to get either the part number for the upper stick for the OEM knob or letting my superiors know that the owners of the previous shifter want and need that upper stick to mount the OEM knob.

I took a look at their website and it looks like they have two adaptors available. One is specific to their shift knobs (part #081208 to fit 3/4x16 shift knobs). The other adaptor (part #081102 to fit 9/16-8 shift knobs) would work in conjunction with the white Hurst ball shifter, part #3916031.

Still working on getting that info for the forum.

I know you Gen 6 owners that have the traditional Hurst Billet/Plus shifter are dying to get the upper stick so you can use that beautiful Alcantara shift knob. If you haven't already, please post your request for the upper stick on this thread or PM me. Your opinion is invaluable to us and one way of getting this to market is to make your voices heard. Thanks for all of your interest and let's see some PM's!

You demanded and we listened! For those 6th gen Camaro owners that have the Hurst Billet/Plus Shifter and want to reuse the factory shift knob, we have some great news.

The upper stick portion is now available for purchase. This item can only be purchased by calling us at 707-544-4761; this part is not available on the website. When you call in just let any member of our Support Team know that you'd like to purchase the Hurst Upper Stick, part #2385002.

Ladies and Gentleman you have patiently waited and for that I am thankful! If I can be of any assistance please do not hesitate to PM me.

Attention Future 2019 Camaro SS/ZL1 Owners, Hurst Performance Has You Covered

We recently got our dirty "mitts" on a brand-spankin' new 2019 Camaro SS for some test fitting. We can confirm that our line of Hurst Billet Plus Shifters will fit on the upcoming 2019 Camaro SS and ZL1 models. At this time we've only confirmed fitment for the 2019 Camaro SS/ZL1 with a 6-speed manual transmission and non-MDS exhaust valves, but we'll have more fitment options on the way.

Please call 707-544-4761 or visit our new combined website for additional information and fitment options.
