Tread life of Pirelli PZero tires?

Does anyone know what to expect as far as tread life goes for the Pirelli Pzero tires that are coming on the Camaros? With normal driving how many kms/miles?

Most ZR rated tires are around 18,000 - 24,000. But they loose their edge around 15,000 and I usually change them then. I have no experience with PZero's, but all ZR's are approx the same.

I heard 8 to 10,000 and they are pretty much used up. I hope its closer to the 15K mark or this will get expensive !!

I got 31000 miles on the same tires on my Cobalt SS/SC. The tires still had tread when I changed but I felt they had lost their edge. I have the P-Zero All Seasons on the Cobalt now, excellent tires but in summer driving tho better than most tires clearly not as good as the originals for quick moves. I would say 24000 for general spirited driving, less if one consistently tests limits, and more if one has periods of driving sanely mixed with periods of driving with joy. They are definitely not 40000 no matter how sedately you drive. -- laborsmith

I agree I have the P-Zeros on my saab 9-3 and now on the cobalt SS/SC you should see a good 30k but by then they start to loose there bite.

P zero summers are treadwear 220, I don't see them lasting very long.

I ate thru a set of goodyear's treadwear 700 in 10K down here in FL. It gets hot as hell down here.

The treadwear rating of 220 means about 15k perhaps 20k max from my experience. Most regular street tires have ratings of about 400 and they last 40k.

I'm at 30k miles and they are done. Looking for a good all season tire with longer treadwear.
