Help identifying my 2013
Just purchased a 2013 SS. I'm trying to determine whether it has the 1le package. According to the VIN codes it is a SS2 with the 1le but it doesn't have the black hood, splitter or wing. How is that possible? Did they make 1les without those features? What gives? Help me out guys.

No they never made the 1LE without the black hood, splitter or wing
if your brakes are red then it's most likely a 1LE edit: if you have leather seats, you DON'T have the 1LE package |

Guess I'm reading the code wrong. According to one site there was a letter in the VIN that indicated the package.

1LE is an option, not a model.
It would be in the RPO codes. The sticker is on the trunk floor, left side. Nothing in the VIN indicates options.

1LE was available on 1SS and 2SS. Only restriction was the manual trans.

look at the sticker under the carpet in the trunk. if you have a 1le it will have 1LE on the sticker.
The hoods were vinyl wrapped. Remove the wrap and its painted body color. The interiors had suede steering wheel, shifter and suede inserts. 10 spoke black wheels and red calipers.

Some people say the underhood portion of the steering column is painted white in a 1LE.
Don't know if that's true or not. Your best bet is to look at the Service Parts Identifier label that's affixed to the trunk floor. If it says 1LE on there, then it's a 1LE.

I believe the size of the wheels/tires were different on a 1LE, and the rear differential had a 3.91 ratio gear.
