I guess he can be the permanent host after the amount of hosts they had to go through after Jeremy Clarkson was fired.

I like that Eddie Jordan is on there - he was the Best F-1 Team Owner, Funny Guy! Sabine should be OK

I don't mind Joey, I mean Matt, he will bring an American presence and the BBC knows how popular the show was here.

Maybe they have so many Hosts, because they will trim some or split segments?

Will it work? I don't know, but it will never be the same without Clarkson!

Totally agree it won't be the same, but that's where they have the ability to shine so I have high hopes. I'm so excited Chris Harris is a host as he's the one out of all of them who really deserves it.

I could see it being split up for sure but time will tell. All I know is I'm excited that this is now back and the original top gear trio will have their show coming out this year as well.

Fat LeBlanc!!! He looks like he put on a lot of weight in the commercials.

There going to have to handicap the races by adding the Stig to the trunk of Chris's car to make up for the weight difference.....

I don't know why they're even trying with new hosts. Just milk the repeats. It's not Top Gear without the old hosts, in my opinion.

They actually started filming a few months ago. IIRC they were at Spa for some of the first shoots with the 918, la ferrari and the P1 all together for the same track day. That I want to see. Seeing as they took a large chunk of the higher up's from the production team with them I think the amazon show will be outstanding. Plus bezos told them they would have zero interference. BBC TG, I think it will last 1-3 seasons before it dies a slow painful death. Their choice of evans as a lead host killed it for me. He isn't funny, he knows jack about cars other than opening a checkbook then selling them for a loss like the 365 daytona. He's made money on a few but he doesn't have a passion for them, it's a business decision. I've always had a thing for sabine, harris is ok. I liked some of his work on drive. Leblanc, no thanks. He has the personality of dry wall. Personally when the boys left it was over for me. Evans can buy his way into an elite group but I'd rather watch hammond fall in love with a pos opel and spent 5 times what the car is worth on a vanity plate for it.

Netslave, I've got to agree with you about Hammond and Oliver. The first Africa special is probably one of the best episodes they've ever done.

I'm slightly more optimistic, cautiously so, about the BBC's new cast, simply because of Sabine and Chris Harris. We'll see.

I love the old crew but I will watch the new one see how it goes. I have Amazon prime so I should get to see the new show or I will pay for first few episodes if they charge to see how it goes. Heck I watch almost any car show. I like 5th gear also harder to find but when tivo finds and records I enjoy watching it.
