You take it correctly, Your probably right but My dealer (where I bought it) never said a word and there was no other mods done to the car. Interesting

lol, i just tinted the wifeys tail lights and she left for cali this morning. lol. with her luck you might not be alone with your expensive ticket!! in all fairness though they are not dark. i do hate the clowns that tint them to the point you cant see brake lights in the midst of the desert sun.
