So after deciding about a year ago that I definitely wanted to go with the ZL1 rocker panels; I finally decided that I definitely want to go with the diffuser, as well...

My car is a '13 2SS/RS and I already have the NPP; what parts will I need, and does already having the NPP setup/diffuser make the process somewhat easier?

Contact Maureen @ Rodgers Chevrolet if I recall all of the parts needed ran me like $480 shipped.

Nope the only thing you have going for you is you will not have to spend extra $$ on tips and exhaust modifications.

Thanks, I plan to get back in touch with her again to get my rockers, so maybe I'll do the whole shot all at once.

Thanks again!

I want to do this ZL1 diffuser conversion. I have a 2014 1LE does my year still require all the hardware as noted on page 1? My OEM diffuser was only set-up for the dual tips not the NPP.

There were changes to the front and rear fascia starting in '14, so not all the part numbers are accurate for your model.

Does anyone know if heat shields are needed if you don't have mufflers, but rather have a system like the Dynatech catback? Or are the heat shields still needed because the tips still get too hot?

Cheers

They are not required and IMHO they are more of a cosmetic feature. Figure the regular Camaro diffuser does not have heat shields nor does the 1LE.

I added them because I liked the way they looked

How much was this conversion roughly? I have my bumper off due to a scuff on it and it needing to be repainted.

$500 for the rear diffuser, shields, and hardware, added another $50 for quad tips, and $75 for exhaust modification.
