2011 ss slight lope

I recently purchased a 2011 SS manual transmission with 40'000 miles. It has a slight lope or misfire at idle. The rpms may jump a little and I feel a very slight shake. Nothing to big. Is this common?

Could be a small cam.
Since you just bought it who knows. I would have it check out before your warranty expires, it could be anything.

I'm going friday the warranty expires on the 24. Will an aftermarket exhaust void the warranty?

An exhaust modification won't void a warranty unless an automaker or a dealer can prove that an aftermarket part caused the need for repairs.

No

My service advisor said he'd pretty much honor any warranty work barring a tune or cam/head swaps

I have heard people complain of the 6.2's "rough" idle. I didn't really feel it on my 2010, but my 2015 stumbles more.

Everything is relative..

It's normal.

It's normal with the LS3, nothing to worry about...

The engine idles at a pretty low rpm. Usually an engine like this would "like" to see 800 rpm or more.

If the idle were higher the engines would seem much smoother at idle.

My idle was a little lopy in my 2010, sounds normal. Idle is about 650 rpm. I Replaced my intake with the z28 intake and it comes with a 'strong' mass airflow sensor. Seemed to smooth out the idle.

The LS3 is just BA. But I don't think the RPM's should jump?

My 2011 does this too. It's really, really slight. I wondered at first, but with the idle rpm so low, it makes sense that it would do this a little bit. The rpm doesn't jump, it's just like a twitch in the needle.
