Not there yet, but a new PB

In case some haven't seen it on other social platforms, we made some ET improvements a couple weeks back. The plan was to make the final push into the 7's at Cadillac Attack but had a head gasket issue due to freezing water.

But, despite that, progress is good and we'll try again in a few weeks, hopefully before the hot temps set in. If you take the first pass where I messed up the launch and merge it with the next one where we had either belt and/or trans/converter issues (data log is corrupt), it is reasonable to believe the car has at least 7.80's in it. The throttle body is actually closing to 55% briefly before the 1/8 still, so we need to continue to work with Nick Williams on that. It doesn't appear to be what will stop us from the goal, so it is on the back burner at the moment.

Brief recap on the build - 427ci LT, Kong ported Maggie 2650R, +30 DI injectors, Big Bore pump, Fore triple in tank, THP PI kit (Holley controlling), Pure Drivetrain Solutions 10L90, stock mag ride, stock springs, and stock converter. Built by Vengeance Racing and tuned by Branden Leeb at Elite Tuned.

Great work as always, Jason. You’re right there and 7’s are definitely in reach. Congrats!

The stock suspension is matched to the platform very nicely for drag racing on a prepped surface. I imagine no prep would take some extra finesse in the tune or maybe new suspension, but I don’t use the car that way, so I’m happy with it.

Thanks! I’m happy to finally have data that says my goals with the car aren’t completely silly. Lol
