Canadian ZL1

Hi everyone, this is my first post since joining Aug11/21.Really enjoy all the discussions and info. Since there is so much talk about new orders I thought I would chime in. I am in western Canada ( Alberta). I placed an order for a 2022 Wild Cherry ZL1 on July 12/21. Two weeks ago dealer informs me the car is built and waiting for shipping. Yesterday dealer calls to say it’s status code 4200 and has left Lansing. He says to expect delivery Oct.12/21 “ give or take”. This seems like a dream after hearing all the disappointing stories of long waits for delivery. I do understand the frustration. My wife ( also an avid sports car fan/driver) decided to change manufacturer and try a Mach1. We ordered premium model with track pack January 15/21. Still not here. A amusing end to that story is that Ford has shipped her Mustang to Lansing where it sits today. I told her it’s getting some Camaro DNA to make it a better handling car.

As a fan that has an order in, you might be one of the lucky ones here in Canada. I'm still waiting for my MY2022 to be picked up by GM. Different boat I guess - currently Rapid Blue AND A1Z (1LE) are currently on constraint. The CF wings are on BO and Rapid Blue needs to wait for 'limited' color run.

Post pics once she arrives. I'm jealous lol.

I hope you get some good news soon. Rapid Blue is one of the best colours this year. I did try to order car in vivid orange, but got the same result ,that the colour wasn’t available yet. When you do take possession, please post some pics , I’ll do the same.
