How wide is too wide?

I'm wanting to go with 305 tires on the rear. Are they too wide for the power I'm making? Or am I overthinking it? My car makes 385 hp to the wheels.

I have 305's on mine and I'm making 430 hp to the rear wheels. Go for it, you'll be fine.

305 is easily done, the 315 is the widest we do.

Is it possible to go 285 on the Stock wheels, 20x8 up front and 20x9 in the rear. I have also heard of people buying two 20x11 wheels and moving the 20x9 to the front. I would like a "square setup" SO maybe the least costly is to buy two 20x9 wheels? End goal is "square" 284's all the way around.

Thanks all.

I am running 20x9 all the way around. 4 OEM Rears. But I'm using OEM tire sizes, I track my car and wouldn't run a 285 on 9" wheel. I will be using 20x10 for 285s.

So using 4 OEM 20x9's one could expect to have 275's on all four? Anything above that should be 20x10 or above?

Go wider till it rubs, then get out the bfh, lol
