COT can be disabled but it will also disable AFM if you have the A8. To get around that you can leave COT enabled but just change the enrichment boundaries to effectively null it out.

thanks. So I set the PE back to 1.150, The maf table... stupid question, do I make the translation table numbers go up or down to lean the car out?? I know stupid question.

OK will that work with Mishmoto MAF?

Higher is richer lower is leaner.

Oldman,

You need to create a histogram in HPT than plots lambda error against MAF frequency. This will give you the amount you need to adjust the MAF transfer value for each Hz cell. To properly recalibrate for a cold air intake you will also need to make sure the ECM is in MAF only mode or you won't be able to get all areas dialed in correctly. This is the high level view. As with most things there are some subtle things to pay attention to as well such as filtering out data points that should not be included in the histogram.

I reprogrammed the Performance Enrichment table.
Why can't I go to the MAF frequency table and extend the range and lower the last 2/3 of the numbers one column to the right which is about 5% lean. The table above looks like a delta table based on lamda which I get, but for me I'm thinking a bellshapped curve around 12.35 air / fuel at WOT.

Or will messing with the MAF table hose part throttle a/f and I have to go to the above translation table.

Don't beat me up, just asking.

I've been on the HPTuner board and the reports back from some vendor tables modifications are very poor.
