Bluetooth Pandora

Does anyone know how to connect Pandora to the cars Bluetooth? The phone connects fine for calling but doesn't connect to Pandora. I would think that if the phone can connect there should be a way to connect Pandora or other music apps?

Sometimes I have to start Pandora on my phone first. Be sure the bluetooth icon is "lit" on the Mylink screen showing it's active. Then touch the Pandora icon on the screen.
It can be glitchy.

Might want to post this in the audio/video section

Actually, I'm glad it's here so I don't have to wade through a bunch of info that isn't applicable to our "bare bones" Z-cars. I'm not going to install more audio in mine, but I do want to get the most out of the stock Z-28 system.

On my SS I have to wait till the messages icon appears before Pandora will work. The calling functions will work before that, but once the message icon pops up it's like the phone is fully connected.

I have an iPhone 6+, and it's never worked as advertised... no matter what I've tried. I use Pandora via Bluetooth like any other app.

Bluetooth audio does not work on the Z/28. Something we have discussed a few times here on the forum. Phone works great. Best option is an FM modulator or swapping out your head unit.

I have a aftermarket Pioneer Double Din DVD player w/ Pandora equipped. Initially Pandora would pop up automatically. After a few updates, for some reason I have to Bluetooth into it first then it would play. I'm thinking its a software compatibility issue with Pandora because I have the same problem with videos playing from my Ipod. Good luck with you.

The above is what I had found prior to this thread but I hoped I was wrong.

This "flaw" has been a torn in many owners side. I for one wonder how such a simple over sight could have been made. I get the "race car" about the car as I own a non-A/C car, but not having blue-tooth audio connection was a punt.

I had BT audio it in my ZL1 and half the time it wouldn't connect with my iPhone (could be Apple's fault...). I tried everything I was told to try and nothing worked. It was infuriating. I'm fine using the aux. cable.

Found these two threads, may just need to install a PDIM and have the stereo software updated.
