Been wanting to upgrade from my 5th gen. I'm so torn!!

I've been thinking allot lately of upgrading from my 2010 2SS. Car is paid off plus I have some cash saved that will be getting included in a downpayment on the next purchase. I'm looking at spending around $35k. Preferably low 30s.

Here are the few cars im thinking of....

12-13 C6 Grand Sport (under 30k miles)
18 1SS 1LE (new)
14-15 ZL1 (under 30k miles)

I'm completely torn on what car to get. I've seen all 3 of these in and around my price range.

The ZL1s are kinda hard to find it seems.

I've really been leaning towards the GS lately since I've already owned 3 Camaros (2 4th gens and my current 5th gen) plus I really miss the t-tops from my 4th gens and the targa top on the GS would be great imo. The Vette would be something a bit different for me. Plus I love the looks of all the widebody (ZR1, Z06, GS) C6 Vettes.

As for the 1LE, it would be my first brand new car and the styling of the 6th gen has really grown on me.

I've been trying to do allot of research and learning about the 3, especially the Vette since that's the car I knew the least about. I've never driven any of them so that will obviously have something to do with my final decision.

I currently own an auto but plan on getting a manual trans in the next car.

Any Pros and Cons you guys have on the 3 that i might not be thinking of would be a great help.

The ZL1 will be the best platform to modify. It already has a stout drivetrain from the factory. But you really dont have any bad choices there.

I voted ZL1. I'm on the look out myself for a '13-'14 ZL-1 Blue Ray auto tranny vert to trade in for. It's the ultimate badass Camaro yet still somewhat subtle. I recently saw a nice blue C6 Grand Sport vert for a surprisingly reasonable price on autotrader but IMO the car already looked kind of dated because of the newer gen Vettes. But with the Camaros the 5th gen looks way better than the 6th gen IMO and the ZL-1 just takes it to the next level.

I'm not going to be looking to make a bunch of mods. Just some basics, intake and exhaust possibly but that will probably be it. Really just looking for which car will be most fun to drive.

Another thing I forgot to mention is it won't be a daily driver. Weekend car, road trips, car meets is mainly what I'll be doing.

You should test drive as many of them as you can before you make your decision.

Z28 is very nice as well.

Definitely plan on driving at least 2 if not all 3.

The Z28s are all about 10k over my price range and even harder to find than the ZL1s

ZL1 mods will really wake the car up. Save the exhaust money for a pulley/tune. The stock NPP with a fuse pull is loud enough.

The Grand Sport is probably the most fun to drive. ZL1 is better road trip car. Not that the Vette is bad, I’ve taken a 10+ hour trip in my C5 before to Tail of the Dragon. But the Camaro is just a bit more comfortable and quieter. Both cars will eat tires.

The ZL1 is likely to get more attention at car meets. As it’s fairly rare and Corvettes are a dime a dozen.

ZL1 starting to run away with the votes. Wish they were easier to find. Plus I'm picky as hell. Has to be a good color and a manual, plus I don't like the black split spoke wheels that most came with. I much prefer the silver solid 5 spoke wheels.
