New Camaro Owner
I purchased a 2010 Camaro SS (LS3) about 3 weeks ago, and couldn't be happier.
Little background: Im 43, married with 2 kids, I have always wanted a Camaro, but have been purchasing the family cars for the last 17 years, been a Chevy guy for quite a while, my first "new" car was a '90 Cavalier that I put almost 200K miles on before buying a Z24. Since then have had a variety of cars my latest being an Audi A3 which I loved, but out of warranty repairs were getting silly. Went to trade in my A3 and saw my Camaro on the lot, took it for a test drive, and had the salesman giggling the entire time, man did that test drive seal it. My wife has never been huge on cars except her '70 Nova she had in HS, which I think if given the chance would sell one of our children to get back, she loves this car, has been trying to figure out reasons to "take it away from me". I don't think I am going to do too much to the car, it has a very classic feel for me, and I want to keep it that way, though my wife is ok with some under the hood modifications as long as it has that "sleeper feel" and retains its classic looks. TLDR: Glad to be a Camaro owner, having a blast with the car. Edit: Forgot to add a pic... Chris. |

You are just in time for Camaro5Fest V which is very conveniently, for you, going to be held just outside of Houston next May. Check it out. Maybe your wife will need her own Camaro.
