Launch Control 60' Times

Went to the track last night and got about 4-5 passes in. I tried 2 of them with the PTM 4 and one with PTM 5 and the car seemed to dead hook and bog down which allotted me a 2.2-2.3 60ft time then I made a 2 passes without the launch control and managed a 2.0 and 2.1. Feels like the car cant read such a well prepped surface.

That 2.2 and 2.3 is right at about where I hit too. Was going to make a run nannies off last trip, but the rain came in before I could.

See how much it matters next season, definitely ordering some slicks this winter.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. But on the street in PTM 5 the car leaves like a bat out of hell. Easily 1.8-1.9 60ft

not to be a downer but 2.29 is really bad. If that is all the PTM mode launch control can muster, then turn it all off and go with no computer assistance. My stock pickup truck can do a 2.08-2.1 60' with street tires. You can easily get 1.8-1.9 with some heat in the stock goodyears.

Not going to pretend to get it, but I went up to the line and forgot to put it in PTM one time, that was pretty bad, thing bogged down, I didn't even know what was going on.

Hey it's better than my first pass I dumped the clutch to do my burnout with TC still on.

But on another note it seems to work much better on the street.

Not a problem, I wanted to see how the launch control worked, and I had forgotten to turn off the A/C as I had told AZ-ZL1, hence the "inside joke". There was plenty of heat that day plus a burn out from the water box...there was very little wheel spin. It started to rain after the second run so that ended the day.

What rpm are we launching at for an M6 ?

WoW... some pretty bad 60' times. Mine aren't much better either.

Did get a 1.9X w/ launch control once. Most of the time 2.0 to 2.1. Turning off the nannies I can't get below a 2.2
