Because Lexus doesn't HAVE To. Lexus is Luxury, their sub brand is Toyota. I don't understand why people feel they should get luxury for 30K. If people could get it for 30K, whats the point of luxury? Its up to Toyota division to make a car that is quick for the price range.

The IS250 and IS350 are little quick cars in their own right, and cost upward to 40-50K. Heck, I'd consider saying the IS350 with the Fsport package could beat the V6 Camaro.

This is the car Kyle Busch (NASCAR fame) was caught driving 128 in 45 zone last year. Lost his license for 45 days and fined a grand. His lawyer argued by nature of his profession he couldn't drive it slow.

Um comparing a Camaro to a LFA? Wow, the argument just became pointless

The IS350, is a surprisingly fast car... especially the (AWD) from a dig.

If you're talking track, yea the Lexus will lose to the SS. If you're talking about everyday Stop light to Stop light... be careful, with that AWD He'll get a good launch, and you'll be playing catch up.

If's he's smart he'll shut it down before you can catch up... thus "winning"

Why is it so important that this car can beat this car? A few mods good HP a good push to the back of the seat and all is good win or lose... I knew when I bought the Camaro SS it was not the be all end all performance car out there, looks played a good deal as well. Hell even the ZL1 is not the big dog in town, is it badass? By all means it is!! Even your super modified SS as badass as it is and could take out the ZL1 there is always someone out there to take you down come import or domestic..

I never understood threads that turn like this one did as well as attitudes alike on the street.

Arrogance does not equal a good car guy..

Enjoy them all and respect them all cause we are all in this for the same reason, and for me that is the love and passion for 4 wheels with an attitude..

Just Sayin!!

That's retarded. There is someone posting 12.5 or better 1/4 in a stock SS but we are not comparing hero runs here.

You can get luxury for around 30k. My co worker just bought herself a IS250 for 36k out the door and it has a bunch of options.
