alright my friend has a 350z(manual) everything stock except he has a:
N1 cat-back exhaust
and i have(auto):
VR intake.
Vmax TB v2
Doug Thorley shorty headers.
QTP cutouts
no tune

he wanna race at the track 1/4mile

what are the expectation? what do you guys think?

its an 06 350 slowest of the 350's so you should win

Look at power, torque and weight. Very close race.

HP:TQ:Weight

Camaro: 312:273:3700
350Z: 300:260:3400

Seems close and the mods aren't adding much on either end.

If he has those mods, and can actually drive, he should be able to knock of some low-mid 13's @ 106-108.

You're likely a mid to high 13-second car. Run him and see if either can actually drive it. Either way, you'll have fun doing it.

FYI - The curb weight can vary on the Z. Anywhere from 3,188lbs for a Base Model, to 3,600 lbs for a fully loaded Grand Touring roadster.

350Z if well driven and doesn't have the oil consumption issues that plagues the VQ35DE that's in those years.
