I’m sorry about your son. After reading your whole post I thought you’d like to know you weren’t the only one strongly cross shopping between a 12/13 boss 302 and a SS 1le. I was worrying that my order wouldn’t get picked up for a 2ss 1le for 2023 (or at all) after reading about all the stories of people waiting forever for that trim/package combo so I started thinking about other cars I could get. The 1le was my first choice but I didn’t want to pay the used prices for one as they are extremely ridiculous right now. I thought about getting a boss because even though their prices are inflated as well I figured when things got to normal it wouldn’t lose much value since it’s a special/ limited trim. Overall I’m glad my order got picked up ( just hoping the actual transaction goes smoothly). I also ordered shadow gray metallic like your car!

To the newer posts, thanks for the kind words, Nate would be very proud, although if he was here I'd have to think about letting him drive it, might not come back in one piece
 . Boost, yes, very happy with DWS's M6-lt1, interesting about the Boss, very nice car and agree with you about the resale, but who knows. Camaro has 10 more years of innovation and improvement, very happy with my choice. Hope you get your 2023 and good choice on color. I wasn't married to any color but really liked the crimson red tintcoat, would have been first choice, but at the time glad to get any color, and they are all beautiful. ICY SS, Yes I have had it for a week and a half now. Same color as yours. I am very happy with it so far.
m6-lt1, When I ordered it, it only took 6 weeks and 3 days to get delivered. SO hopefully you have the same times as I did.

EvenStephen, Thank you, sorry about your Dad. Love your car, the black on white, that was the color of my 69 Boss 302, great combo but hard to keep clean.
