It was definately the minority, most just meant stock on stock tires, but for the few geniuses that said the c8 wouldn't touch 10s stock with just a drag radial since "traction wasn't an issue for it".

Two 10.9s with a weld and rear drag radial, stock front wheels & tires.

Lot of PA is closed for tags (non-essential services). Dealers can do them but only thing I can think of is shifting inventory. I bought a z06 out of PA a week ago and can’t register until Friday when county opens again due to Covid.

Could be that. Could also be an issue if the states listed are “Section 177” states. Those would be the states who adhere to California Air Quality standards. If the vehicles in question have not yet been tested for compliance for CARB certification. Don’t have the list iof Section 177 states in front of me right now.

I can't speak for NY or PA. But in NJ the cops are not ball bustin over registration. At worst you'll get pulled over just so they can check out your paperwork. They all know the shutdown is in effect so they are offering leniency. I think even DMV has offered something like a grace period thru to July.

So with initial registration the way I understand it is that you need to have the signed title and the proof of insurance with you if you plan to operate the vehicle. If it is a renewal then you can do it online. If you buy a new vehicle from a dealership and the temp tags expire then you will not get a ticket.

Ouch Robby, i feel like that was a hard dig at me (i thought we were cool). Though if it is a dig at me, i think you will find I stated that it will be a couple hero runs in the 10s and I'm sticking with it. I also said drag radials wouldn't be dropping the times as much as front engine cars when the one guy was claiming he was going to be running 10.6s on just a radial, so maybe you weren't referring to me?

Side note: damn I want one!

Certainly so good to see the C8 to dip 10's and run a string of 11.0's very consistantly and in plus DA
