Young, healthy athletes have very little to worry about health-wise BUT... what happens when an asymptomatic Patrick Mahomes tests positive and has to sit out for 2-3 weeks even though he is not sick? What if the entire Baltimore Ravens O-line tests positive, yet aren't sick? So when the Ravens lose the two or three games their O-line is down for and it knocks them out of the playoffs how's that going to sit with fans? (I would love it, but change Ravens to Browns and it sucks royally and I'm pissed) The complete uncertainty surrounding who may or may not be available on any given week will pretty much make the season suck and the Super Bowl champion may well be the team with the best hygiene as opposed to the best players. |
