Hey guys i jUst installed an lt2 intake and i have a rotofab cai . Today i went on a friend dyno and wee made 2 runs and on both run the afr was around 12.0 to 12.4 . So it seems that is not lean at all. My friend is the best mustang tuner in my area and not very famliar with gm product but he told me that afr is ok and the stock tune work fine

Thank you! I had been waiting for this for ever before installing the manifold that’s been sitting in my garage for over 6 months now lol. Did you by any chance do a before and after dyno?

Hey sorry for the delay but today we put the car on the dyno and we made pass with the stock intake and with the lt2 to compare. I teally dont know whst to think . With the stock intake and rotofab my afr was at 11.9 to 12.2 and with the lt2 it was the samething but the hp gain was incredible. After 2 pass i made 30 more hp and 22 lbs of torque. I think it's high for just an i
ntake and a rotofab but the numbers dont lie.

These results are just modding the LT2 IM to fit and bolting it in with the rotofab? Nothing's been ported or anything like that right?

Yes stock throttlebody and not ported lt2 with rotofab dry filter and no tune.

anyone get p0106 code after roto fab and lt2 intake....car dies when hitting the gas hard and shuts the car into reduced power mode...

Seems associated with map sensor, make sure connections are tight/plugged in for sensors that you relocated onto lt2.

I know mine is a little different but I swapped out to a ported Lt2 and stock 95mm, it was very rich on the first logs and lost about 13 rwhp on the very first pull on the dyno. We basically revised the MAP and brought the power back in just a couple pulls plus a little more. I would recommend a tune when you go from the Lt1 to the Lt1 just because you are bringing in more air which is going to require the MAP sensor changes. I don't see why you'd want to change the IM if you don't tune for it. Obviously, mine is a little more modded because of the porting and 95mm TB but save your money if you don't want to make tuning changes.

That is what I had, but GPI said LT2 IM wont cause an issue only if i have a stock TB, so i took off my 87/91TB
