The non 1le fitment refers to the ss 1LE if I recall. the location (top or bottom of the caliper) where the line connects between the 4 and 6 pistons makes a huge difference in length. I remember it being an issue on the 5th gen too.
What do you mean between the 4 and 6 pistons? You mean front and rear? You think the 1LE front 6 and rear 4’s are completely different than other Camaros front 6 and rear 4’s? Or do the ZL1’s only have the 6 and 4’s?

So 600 degree fluid being pressed through a rubber hose won’t expand, move, become mushy and give different feed back vs a solid SS line going through the same scenario? Umm ok.

SS 1LE has their own brake lines. Standard SS and ZL1 / ZLE share the same brake line length. So you can use Stainless Steel lines for an SS on your ZLE

This is absolutely an INCORRECT statement. YOU must not have tried these for yourself.

Yup - notice how data is never provided. % expansion or not. Stock lines are rubber outside for abrasion protection. Inside = steel wire mesh to limit expansion.

Cut one apart - see for yourself. Engages harder.. that's skinnier wallet talking.

Best to prove someone wrong and cut apart a brake line from a ZLE. You might have one in driveway.. we'll wait. For internet points.

Goodridge 12299 is a brake line kit for front/rear 6th gen camaro. Worked fine on my ZL1 1LE.

Yep. That's what I was hoping. Just surprised there isn't more out there, but I guess it is a small market.

OOOOO so now it’s limited to ONLY the 1LE that’s steel braided and only it’s a waste. See I thought when you said no one ever posts data on any SS lines you were referring to all cars and all cars have braided steel lines. Funny how stories seem to change a little when info gets placed out there isn’t it??
