Yes ! I believe it's in the 155 range. But I'm positive HP tuners could turn that off, but is it worth voiding your warranty ?

Limited at 180, but hard to get above 175 because of air drag.

Ok ,155 or 180? Im assuming it’s limited through the Ecu, or the flapping
Of the convertible top? PS are there limits to the coupe too? |

- 155 mph for the convertibles (although I've only personally seen the SS limit, I believe the same applies to the ZL1 convertible); - 180 mph for the SS coupe; and - 206 mph for the ZL1 coupe. With the exception of the vert, these speeds are unattainable in practice anyway.

Hmm, 206 for the ZL1 coupe, and only 155 for the ZL1 vert, wow
That’s a hell of a restriction! I guess that applies to the top down too! |

The 5th Gen ZL1 Vert was restricted to 155mph due to the top.

I believe all the Verts are limited to 155, not only for the top but due to lack of roll over protection (no roof structure)...

If you tune the car you can adjust/remove the limit. Although the car is quite stable at high speed with the top down, I'm not so sure I would tempt fate that way. |

When I owned a 5th gen ZL1 convertible, the rumor being thrown around for the 155 mph speed limit was because GM never tested the canvas top above that speed. Guess they thought convertible owners would never want to go faster than that.
