Don't answer that OP. You'll get a bunch of internet-amplified fish stories about how you paid too much.

I've fhought since 2012 that black is the best color for the Camaro, even after many, many car washes.

Congrats! I’m trying to figure out whether to buy a used 1SS or 2SS or new LT1. With the local LT1’s being cars I would have to wait on to arrive from the chip shortage.

picked up a 6mt a few weeks ago in summit white. Got it a few k below MSRP which i was thrilled about since it was one of 2 within 300 miles.

I was looking at used 6th gen SS cars and the only way i could get the price even close to a new Lt1 was if i got a 16 with 80k miles. No brainer for me since i plan to upgrade the sound system, add my own suspension setup and aero.

🤔 Few thousand under MSRP with how dealers are on markup especially in the Mid Atlantic, and I’ve yet to see any dealer allowing discounts including GM Supplier. I take it that your trade or down payment put you under MSRP.

I looked at the paperwork, and the purchase price line item was 33 something, doesnt account for my trade in as that was another line item, along with the GM college grad discount.

I got one in April with RS package, 3.0 Tech.

Also I was psyched to see came with factory funnel in the glove compartment.

Just installed axle back Chevy Perf exhaust. CAI and Soler module this week. Just hit 1450 miles.

Enjoy your car : )

Only options are A10 and tech pkg.

Exactly what I was looking for, cheap bare bones thrills

What funnel do you all use for oil changes?
Be nice to find one that stays in place while filling with oil
Harbor Freight has the "HOLT INDUSTRIES Master Oil Funnel Filling Kit." It comes with twelve different color coded adapters for the different manufactures.

It's $49.99.

Here's the link: https://www.harborfreight.com/master..._q=oil+funnels

The funnel that comes with the car is to adapt the spout on a gas can to fit into the filler in case you have to use emergency gas.

If you're getting an LT1 it's best to order.

The rare times I see an LT1 on the lot they cost the same and sometimes even MORE than a 1ss due to the factor they add all kinds of options and other dealer LPO stuff onto them. I've seen loaded up LT1s for for 43k

If I got an LT1 I would order it and the only option would be the A10. Don't need NPP because I'd just swap it out for a louder and better exhaust than NPP anyway. I don't need quiet mode on NPP. It's a muscle car and I want it loud all the time anyway.

This is another reason why Ford is killing it. You can buy the Mustang GT deluxe which is their lower base model for thousands cheaper than a 1ss and cheaper than the LT1 because the LT1 on dealer lots are loaded up and over 40k. Ford dealers carry the base Mustang GT in stock and with rebates you can get them as low as 33k new. Maybe even lower if you haggled on a left over model. You wont find a stripper LT1 like that.

Lots of people buy the base model Mustang GT and then throw on mods.

Down here when dealers do have Camaro it's a loaded up 2ss or a loaded up ragtop and pushing 50k. They sit for months on the lots sometimes.

I agree. I did go RS & 3.0 tech package. Non NPP. Got it exactly how I wanted. So happy. I got the LZ1 lease. 279$ optioned up.

I had employee pricing too. I paid below MSRP but what factory offered and the disc%

I have clients driving Pruis, generic ones and pay more. Im so psyched.

It's the dealers. it's the rare times a dealer has an LT1 down here that's what it is. There is no ADM on the LT1s. It's because they're loaded up with options which quickly can add up to that total.

Only dealer within 100 miles I'll on rare occasion will see a normal, bare bones LT1 is Estero Bay Chevy. Otherwise when I see an LT1 it's loaded up to the point it's cheaper and better to just get a 1ss.

My 1SS was $34995. I had sold my Mustang GT to Vroom and still had the title bc it wasn’t picked up yet, so got the $2k rebate at the time. $33k plus tax. Only option was A10.
For the performance I’d say it was cheap.
