kooks headers with cats bolt up to borla sec cat delete?

I have the borla sec cat delete with flow master mid pipe and outlaw axle back. When I go Kooks headers with cats with this have to be done at a custom exhaust shop so it can be fabbed up?

Kooks are sold as "bolt on", however I recently installed the 1 7/8" with catted connection pipes and could not eliminate exhaust leaks with the supplied clamps. Had a buddy weld it and fabricate a couple small connection pieces. Good luck.

You should only have to cut your Borla cat delete pipe to length to connect to the Kooks cats.

Might want to check with Kooks or Borla, but the pipes should follow the same path.

They "kind of" work. I have the Kooks with off-road connection pipes mated to the Borla 60606. From what I recall, the passenger side connection creates a fairly awkward angle. I was unable to get both sides to completely seal... So, I had to use some high temp ducting tape to stop it from leaking...

We have sold it, and it does work, but an exhaust shop may have to make some slight tweaks. If you want a deal on either part, call us @ 610-628-1563!

I’m in the same boat I have tsp headers and haven’t figured out yet how I’m going to mate it to my flow master mid pipe.

Anymore updates on this? I'm thinking if installing or trying to install my headers tomorrow and I'm wondering if I can cut up the borla to work well, or hack up old stock pipes and couple them together.

I’m thinking the same the same thing, except I have the 60607 which keeps the secondary cats. Although I think the connection pipe on the Kooks are approximately where the secondary cats are on the stock exhaust.

Very close to them, around 2" according to my kooks instructions. I ended up working all week so hopefully I'll find out this weekend.

Oh yes sorry, borla secondary cat delete must be cut in order to fit kooks headers with cats at least. Driverside was a little tricky for me, passenger side was easy peasy. Driveraide ball connection or whatever isnt 100% straight but I didnt see any gaps around it. I'll know more later today when I drive it around a little bit.
