They already called about the flex fuel kit and were like "uhhh we see you have some kind of new fuel line that's plugged in to the ECU. What is that?

Ya. The guy called me and said they can't work on it at all without me taking the parts off first, which I do not want to do...

That's what I told them. I said I was just looking for a diagnosis and I'll pay for repair if it's something simple and he said no they can't touch it without having GM look at it. I guess I'll have to wait till I take it to Cunningham and see if they can help me.

Seen that before. My shop would do it all the time. Guys who modded their cars were viewed more as potential problems than current customers so they were brushed off.

Ya I may do that. I've also seen a bunch of people on the forums here who have similar ticking sounds so it must be somewhat normal.

Anybody here care to add the torque specs to this thread for future search reference?
Edit: I am seeing 17ft lbs for the C7 I wouldn't think the 6th gen would be any different

UPDATE! Good news/bad news
Got the car back and the good news is that they said its an exhaust leak. They can tell because it gets louder and quieter with the RPMs as opposed to lifters or whatever which would be the same volume level but just moving faster. Bad news is that they cant fix it haha. The service manager said they already got in trouble for one of their guys working on a modded car so I understand that.

Here was mine, that's a leak for sure. If you match up the Kooks to OEM gaskets the ports to bolts didn't match

As a 6gen owner with an exhaust leak, its a leak. Just find the source and get the bolts tight. Don't go too crazy and snap one... You'll want to considering a cam job if you snap one of those bolts lol. That motor will have to come out depending on which bolt and what position its in -_-. I've seen a few mcguivers get some bolts out using magic and a kit, but it'll make an annoying situation into a shitty one very fast. Older header torque spec was 18ftlbs. Sounds awfully low but hopefully someone here who actually used a torque wrench to end their LT install can chime in.
