Used 2017 1le

Hey guys/gals,

I'm a long time lurker, and I'm finally in the market to purchase my first camaro. I have my eyes on a used 2017 black 1le with 6,900 miles. The dealer is asking 39,500. What do you guys think is a good offer for the car?

Thanks

I might say 38,000 would be a fair price, but I always come to play for a deal.

I would not pay 39500 for a 1LE with 7000 miles on it, you can almost get a new one for that price.

Yep I'd definitely aim for 38,000. You can get a new one for just over 40k (up to 43ish) so don't let them talk you out of negotiating.

I'm going to try and negotiate it down to 38k if not I'm going to look in to buying a new one. Crazy how I live in Houston and I cant find one near by. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

I paid $39,600 for my 1LE brand new 3/10/17. I wouldn't pay $39k for a used one with 7k miles on it. It is close to needing tires as the OEM tires are only good for around 7k-10k and that will be close to $2k alone to replace them.

Also don't forget to factor in finance rates if you are not paying cash, most used car loans are about .5%+/- higher interest rate than new.

.5%(Difference) over 60 months on a $36,000 loan = an extra $608-

It's not the end of the world but might be a factor in your decision making process.

Mine wasn't listed and came out of Corsicana, also found one in corpus that wasn't online.

They are out there just have to figure out how to locate them.

All of the dealers around me won't budge past 44k or so before incentives, saying that even at that price they're only $200 over invoice. With only 1k in incentives, that leaves me way above your offer, which is where I want to be at.

I'd say go for it.

A local dealer in Richmond has one with 8300 miles for $40k. It does have PDR but the tires look shot.

If it wasn't black, I'd make an offer for $35k but I'll most likely order an '18 early next year for spring delivery.
