An excellent road trip adventure was initiated last week and concluded this afternoon. Oxford NC (home) to Nashville TN (to see King Crimson at the Ryman) to Bowling Green KY (Corvette Museum) to Maryville TN (my brother now lives there) to The Dragon (hell, I was in Maryville, of course I'm gonna run The Dragon), to Boone NC (spend some time with an aunt & uncle) and then back home to Oxford. 1500 miles and some pictures were taken along the way. Here are a few.
Deal's Gap, Saturday afternoon around 17:30:  On the Blue Ridge Parkway with lowering skies and sunshine (they have some interesting weather up there):

And I know you'll hear this again... but, watch those curbs and your bumper, Get in the habit of parking well off all curbs, thereby foiling the high one that is laying in wait. Also, beautiful automobile you have there. |
