LT4 reliability

How strong are these engines? I have plans to push 700ish RWHP, how do they hold up around that level for the most part? Driver abuse not withstanding.

I don't think the ZL1 version has been out long enough to get a good handle on that but the CTSV and Z06 have for a bit with mostly the same engine. If you look back on the LSA it has supported mods higher than 700 and from what we have heard on here few problems. Time will only tell.

Absolutely. I was just more curious about the LT4 specifically rather than the ZL1 application. Since the LT4 has been out for some years in other chassies.

You will have ZERO issues at those power levels with a proper tune.

I know of several LT4s running around town with close to 1K and still on the stock shortblock and heads. 700RWHP, you would be fine.

After driving my zl1 around i think about 75 to 100 more hp will be perfect.
