I read on Motor Authority that the LT5 will be for the new mid engine Corvette (C8).

"Linking LT5 with the C8 Corvette is a placeholder page on the website of engine builder Katech that surfaced in July and was quickly removed upon discovery. On the page was listed "C8 Corvette ZR1/Zora” and “2018+ Corvette ZR1/Zora LT5.”

Had the more aggressively aero'd Camaro not been seen running..I'd have stuck with my earlier statement of no Z/28 this gen.

Now I'm thinking we will...just in what form is the question.

Every generation has had a Z28, why would they stop now? Makes no sense.

Well..

Per GM...there's a difference between a Z/28 and a Z28. The last time were was a Z/28 before 2014 was..1970 I think?

Fair enough. That is still very confusing. Why use Z28 in different forms to mean two different things.

For sure not, but I just guess I don't understand using Z28 and Z/28 to mean two different cars.
