it is a rare color.i like the way it appears to be black or have a tinge of purple depending on light conditions,shadows,etc.was just unaware it was available on the 2016s.a friend who has had 3 camaros swears it was available in 2013 but under another name(he had one)but im not sure he is correct.only way to know for sure is to get the two cars together and he was forced to sell his car.BTW it was the only metallic color to be offered in 2015...

For whatever reason Chevrolet seems to have a tough time selling blue Camaros. I've purchased 3 over the last 8 years but apparently not enough.

First pic when I brought it home and immediately peeled the stripes off. I know since the fifth came out, here in Indy there have been several IBM's around and I love the color. Still, nothing like a darker shade in color to show the shine. I had RJT in 2010 and 2011 and now, now I had to go with the BVM which has been stated, looks black at times, tends to have different hues which is cool.
I really thought about getting the Hyper Blue but so many people were opting for it I knew I would tire of seeing it around so BVM is one I don't have to worry about seeing on every corner or turn.

Today marks 1 year since I took delivery and drove her home.
