Thanks! Had it appraised yesterday evening. Indeed, the car does look great. I gave him the 2017 total production numbers (11,017 built, mine is 5,349) total SS 1LE’s built (1,512), in Hyper Blue (1 of 268). Due to this rarity, without finishing his research, about 10K! (Jaw drop). However, in his experience most likely will be between $5-6K. Either way, this is more than I was expecting to hear so we shall see. He said the process will take about 4-6 weeks until I have a check in hand.

Thanks again to all you well-wishers. I love the support of this community. As I mentioned before, I’ll be at CamaroFest come by and say “Hi” if I don’t see you first. Look it over. The result is simply amazing to see. I’ll be at Smokey Bones for Camaro owner’s dinner (last I saw over 100 people on the list) Wednesday evening, NCM on Thursday, Friday morning drag strip (just to see how it and I do time wise), Friday afternoon doing CamaroCross, and in the Car Show Saturday. If I do well enough to qualify for the finals for CC, I’ll be out on that track again Saturday afternoon.

I told Jose I am looking for an SS 1LE in Hyper Blue, with PDR, and 1LE hash Mark as options. He asked back, “Does it have to be blue?” My response, “It can only be blue and must have those options.” Also, he asked me if Inhad driven one or wanted to test drive one. I replied, “Nope. Not necessary. Randy Pobst (Motor Trend) has already sold me on the car. That was 3/4/17. I took delivery on 3/8/17 with 11 miles on the odometer. Build date was 2/2/17. Apparently only 1 test drive. It came from Jon Hall Chevrolet in Daytona Beach, FL. Hendrick did a dealer-trade for it using a white 6-speed ZL1 they had. A transporter trailered the ZL1 down to Daytona Beach and trailered mine back at no charge. How sweet is that?! If you go there and see Jose, please mention me. I’m not advertising business for him or Hendrick, but as is typical if you buy a vehicle from them
I checked in with this dealership prior to purchase. I'm a Hendrick Motorsports fan. They didn't seem too motivated on price and me being in AZ...

Sorry to hear that. I was “completely satisfied” with my purchase experience and willingness to do a 500 mile search for mine that I wound up with. They did initially try to low-ball me on my trade but immediately gave me what I asked for with my counter-request. I told them I would accept nothing less and walk out. Also, Inwas impressed that the service manager said they would happily accept or perform reasonable performance mods, headers included, without concern of voiding my warranty. They pointed out that they are Hendrick after all. No heads and cam, of course, and I likely no tuning either. Anyway, were you in AZ at the time? If so, perhaps they were considering the cost of cross-country transport unless you would have come to them and taken delivery.
