Low Profile Ramps

So what are you guys using/buying for low profile ramps for the Camaro? I installed lifting point blocks under the car, but looking for an alternative with some ramps that can lift the car more than 3"? Any suggestions would be helpful!

I have a set of Race Ramps. They work great for cars that are low to the ground. Not the cheapest ramps, but great quality and very light and easy to move around. Mine are also the two piece versions that allow you to remove the center once the car is on the ramps to more easily access the lower side of the car.

Mine lift the car 10 inches and are 14 inches wide. I believe the total length of both pieces per side is 67 inches. Mine are also the 2500 pound version, which allows me to use them for my SUV too.

I used some yesterday when putting on my axleback. When pulling off the ramps I just used the clutch, no gas, and shot the ramps back about 4' haha fun times! Definitely faster than Jacks, I just got a cheap set. 305's hang off a tiny bit but does the job. I don't think it worked with my ss with tire air deflectors on the front tho, not 100%, been a while. Looks like they have updated model for same price with rubber in the bottom so they don't slide. Hmm do I need another set? Lol

I have Rhino ramps and just drop a couple of planks of wood down before the ramps to lessen the severity of the incline

I took Rhinoramps and added 2x10 underneath to make a platform (and gain 1.5in) to make the ramp longer from wood. It's heavy AF now, but it works.

Ditto. I like mine, but as others are pointing out, there are much less expensive ways to do this. (Race ramps are stupid expensive). Seen some folks make the whole ramp out of wood. Depends on your priorities I suppose. But I like mine for ease of use, don't slide as I go up them, and wide enough for the 305's on the rear.

I been using some low profile ramps for both the Camaro and my C6 Corvette for the last few years from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Apextreme-Pla...376942&sr=8-10

They don't get the car very high in the air but its just enough for me to do what I want.

I agree with everything you said and for the same reasons. Race Ramps are pricey but they work good, get the car high in the air and are very light in weight.

If you decide to go with RR, make sure you use their formula to select the correct product.

I bought the 2 piece set so it’s easy to get under the car from the side.

I don't remember where I purchased them from, although I do remember shopping around for the best deal I could find. Most auto accessories websites sell them

Ive had my RR for several years and use them on all my vehicles. Even though they are pricey, they are still cheaper than a lift would cost and don't take up as much space.

I bought and use the 2 piece Race Ramps for my ZL1 XT 67 inch ones. They are pricey but work.

I ordered mine from Summit Racing 2 years ago so they may cost more now.

I bought the 67" Race ramps bundle with the 4 wheel chocks from Speedway. Yes, they are expensive but this is not the kind of thing you want to skimp on. They work great on my ZL1 for oil changes.
