NEW FRONT BUMPER COVER FOR THE UGLY 2019 SS
Had a feeling Camaro would wake up and see the UGLY 2019 SS front end and do something about it.

Actually its a new front bumper center section with either a bolt on bow tie for the upper grill or a completely new grill with the bow tie molded in. Point is the SS now looks much much better. Kudo's to Camaro for making that change that was very badly needed.

The 2019 Camaro SS looks like Nissan came in and punk'd GM by painting the to look like the GTR.

What a little change will do for the looks of the car will be a huge improvement. Hopefully this will make it to production ASAP. Way to listen GM.

That right there changes this car from "No thanks GM" to Now I need a new Camaro. What a frickin' difference! Why wasn't this done from day one of the refresh?

I hope the person from the design dept. who suggested this change walks around to look at the back of the ‘19 soon.

The flow tie on SS's and the rear tail lights on all have to go. Who the hell wants two sets of goggles at the rear, when off and parked?

2019 WEAPON-X Cam6 SS Front End
Funny you mention this, I was just playing around with this yesterday as I'm waiting for the OEM CAD files. We're in the midst of rolling out our 2019 carbon line up for the Camaro SS, ZL1, ZL1 1LE, C7 Corvette, ATSV and CTSV3 and started thinking about this front end. I don't have an exact game plan yet, but we're going to make the upper and lower grills in carbon with the center section in carbon, but also make a 2-4 piece version with some paintable edge pieces to reshape the front end.
I have a few generic renditions before we start CAD modeling, so let me know your thoughts and potential buyers have a chance to reshape their front end here! Be honest love it, hate it? Because we're ready to start designing! |
