Ah, the good old days, when people were responsible for their own actions.
Yes, in 2009, when nobody else was building EV's.

I was talking about Honda, BTW... and it wasn't 1910.

Too bad I guess for some that Tesla hasn't gone out of production completely and folded up. Seems like the more Tesla gets criticized the more successful it becomes. Too bad it disappoints and irritates some that they still have a huge customer base willing to wait for their cars and that production is actually increasing as time goes by.

Maybe they are staying in business and producing more cars just to piss some people off....lol
Production may have increased, but quality of their product sure hasn't.

With 84% of the cars rolling off the production line needing repairs, there is a strong likelihood that Model 3 is the lowest quality mainstream car ever produced. This kind of yield for any other company would only occur during prototype stages. What this abysmal rework rate indicates is that Tesla is not taking the time to fix the problems and stabilize the production processes before ramping production.

Good article, but,...meh....A lot of reasons they should have quit a long time ago, yet hasn't happened....The primary thing that will put them out of business will be a lack of customers....

No JD powers initial quality awards?...lol...OMG...the horror!!...Imagine how great sales would be if the Tesla had a bunch of them....Wait, Chevy does, how's that working out so far? No GM cars have any issues after all their many years of experience?....Tesla has paint problems??? Stop the presses....where have I heard that before??...and during production, of all things...lol...

Is Tesla perfect?....Hardly. The baffling part for the hopeful trainwreck watcher fans is that all the reasons they should be dead and buried just aren't having the desired effect. Darn it!...oh, well...Imagine the shock if they actually had some real good news to offer. What then?...

Stay tuned, I guess....

There were a lot of reasons Motus Motorcycles should have quit a long time ago, but they had an amazing and different American made product, very costly, but amazing none the less. But they finally did shutdown... they couldn't sustain cash flow (hmmm... where have I heard that before? ).

The .gov, the big 3, and the oil companies don't care for actual viable competition. Take from that what you will.

Looks like the Bolt and the Volt 3rd Qtr sales haven't picked up too many "disillusioned" Tesla customers...

File this under “Automakers determined to eat Tesla’s lunch”. Mercedes will be building the EQC, an all electric variant based on the GLC small lux utility. IT will go toe-to-toe with the eventually to be released Tesla Model Y.

Only 3 profitable quarters since Tesla went public in 2010. They have over a 1/2 billion dollars in loans coming due in next year. Not sure I'm ready to jump on that bandwagon yet.

I saw the 1.7 billion somewhere but could not find it when I looked again. I knew it was substantial but did not want to post something I could not support. Thanks for the correction.

Hey, its better to post the lower number with confidence than the high one without.
