That looks SO GOOD!!! I REALLY like the look and better symmetry of that blower. I like it the best, actually. I can't wait for you to get some much deserved improvements in power and time slips.

Exactly. I do believe you are right about the out of the box. I think the Whipple will be a beast and yes Ebrock does need work to keep up with the 2650 Maggie. It's still a good blower and Tim King showed with his C7 that it was fast. The Whipple 2.9 can make great power also, there are plenty of fast Camaro's out there with 2.9s. Magnuson is by no means perfect at all, but dam good in my opinion.

I will have a raw unanodized part ready to ship tomorrow for you and Adam. Send me a PM and I'll send you a link to pay.

Anodize is about 2 weeks out if you want to wait.

Sure glad Josh went to a 15" conversion, he's going to need all the tire he can get under the car to handle the power.

2. They rush their Products to Production to peddle their goods
3. They rely on their name to sell since the late '80s, so consumers line up and buy
4. Whipple caters to the drag racing community (where it all started back in the day)

Overall, it is a nice product don't get me wrong, they just need to invest more internally, but unfortunately things haven't changed in many years....
I've never delt with them so I only know what I heard when I was with Magnuson and what the guys say on the forum. The 3.0 is a good looking bad boy.

I remember when you ported your 2.9 Whipple. Any plans to port your 3.0?

FWIW porting on the 2.9 yielded virtually nothing (unfortunately for my $1500 LOL).

I carefully checked out the 3.0 snout and am 99% convinced that porting is a waste of time. The snout is really well designed and wide open. Airflow to the rotor pack should not be an issue with a good size throttle body.

Ask me again in 2 years when I’ve rung the crap out of this thing and will be looking for any edge I can.

PM sent. A HUGE THANK YOU to Katech for stepping up and making these adapters for us! You cannot beat that level of service to the Camaro community.

Will you be offering a 120mm adapter too (I’m assuming it’s not the same adapter as the 112mm TB one)? Just wondering for this winter LOL

Hope you guys are right! My LPE DI fueling is going to run out of steam soon unfortunately and that’s going to hold me up this summer somewhat until I do THPSI port injection next winter. But fingers crossed for an 8…!

If people want 120mm adaptors we will make them.

The adaptor is identical other than the ID bore so it's just a few keys strokes away.

So your going to use the TooHighPsi Reflex controller and tap the manifold on the Whipple correct? Should end your fueling issues.

Vincent Novello is building a 2650 Toohighpsi Maggie setup. He was told buy Kong that unless your planning on making at least 20 psi of boost you won't benefit from porting the Maggie. I think that may be the case for most PD blowers. Hopefully Whipple 3.0 won't need any porting.
