On Greg's car the work that Phil did on his E85 tune had it already well prepared for port injection, I honestly didn't have to do anything torque related to his car to have an adequate reported torque.

Once you're at 1000+ RWHP with a stock LT1 high side on full E (80%) you'll need about 65% port and that requires a good understanding handling the torque tables to achieve the required torque to keep the automatic transmission happy (manuals are easy).
Trust me if I had not already upgraded my fuel system, your setup would be on my car. I know I could tune it easily. I was speaking for those relying on other sources for tuning. Majority of the tuners out there can't even figure out DI tuning let alone adding another variable.

Helping a guy now that has a forged LT1 with D1sc. Has LT4 fuel system and 32% lobe cam. The ECM was set to target 14.0 afr in PE on PUMP GAS and was fueling the engine 18% rich with meth to get to 12.2 afr. They said it was perfectly safe. The only thing that was safe is that the timing was set really conservative.

Good to know. My area it always e78-80 at the pumps. I’m currently only able to run e50/55 in order to keep fuel system and MS in check.

You know I'm not that great at tuning but I know that's screwed up. Actually I'm an ok tuner but would never tune anyones car other than mine. I've basically learned everything from Mike and phil@phdtuning. He's also working on about 4 of the toohighpsi setup with different manifold configurations. That's who Mike was talking about in one of his earlier posts.

phil from phdtuning here...I tried to make an account with that name but could never get it verified but here we are.

Tuning the toohighpsi reflex controller couldn't be easier. I'd hope any competent tuner could get it done. It takes a little bit of thought before you get started to make your life easier (as a tuner), but once you get everything lining up between the tune and the reflex adjustment couldn't be easier. I have absolutely zero hesitation recommending it to anyone, and if anyone needs help with it let me know

I appreciate the mentions from Mike and Greg. It's good company to be in.

Welcome aboard Phil. Always nice to have some other well known tuners on the board. Phil also tuned my C7 and helped me get past that 11.06@124 I was stuck and couldn't get it to go any faster, his knowledge and tuning skills helped us run 10.90@128 with just bolt on parts. He did all the initial tuning on my 2022 Camaro when we switched to E85. Good stuff.

Curious on when you'll run out of low side pressure running a port kit, looks like I'm dipping down to 35 psi higher up in my pull on only e50, starts to go lean also. I could turn on my meth more then likely and no go lean but that's not my goal right now.

890/750 on 93/meth
Working on tuning the port system for full e.

Fwiw, My brother has a DSX aux on his ZL1 making 860whp on full E85 DI only with no Meth and it doesn't drop below 78psi. He also has a Cordes Aux low side on his C7Z that makes over 1000 on E60. Both cars also have JMS boosters on the stock tank pumps as well.

oh okay yeah my aux with meth and no port i was over 1000 but now have port and meth turned off and fuel pressure drops, i could turn the meth back on and probably be fine. (e55 was over 1k)

We see the DSX 255 LPH aux pump on e75-80 just starting to drop pressure @ 1,000 rwhp and no voltage booster/stock intank. They have a 320 LPH available as an upgrade.

I’ll have to chat with you privately but is that only aux or is there meth? And what the power adder?

If I recall - just make sure you get the correct injector connectors, to go with your injectors (or - if you haven't ordered them, get them from Mike!), and I think that's all you'll need.

Are you in for closer to 1100 WHP?
