Yes, no, maybe so. Lots of stuff that was officially done, got there due to the people unofficially working on it. I'm not jumping up and down, but I won't ever say never. |

My understanding was that CT5 next gen was to migrate to the Omega platform that CT6 was on. There would be a CT3 and CT4 on Alpha2 and CT5, CT6, and CT7 on Omega. The Omega platform vehicles would use Blackwing V8. Now there is no Omega platform, no CT6, and no next gen CT5, thusly no Blackwing V8.

My idea of a modern day Z28 would be a twin turbo V6 with a passive track suspension package, Recaro front seats and no rear seats.
I suppose we are past the age of leaving out A/C... |

Definitely not. I was pushing 48V mild hybrids HARD when I was at GM. Never had so many doors slammed in my face (figuratively speaking of course)

A version of the 6th gen V8 possibly being tested under our noses, I believe we'll see something in the trucks first.

Why? A TTV6 will be heavier, more expensive and more complicated than the 6.2 and won’t make anymore power.

I hadn’t thought of that. Could very well be the case.

Why was a 2019 SS testing on the Nürburgring with the C8 two weeks ago? I'm holding back any optimism that GM is spending any of Number 3's pension money potential on our beloved Camaro. It does however make me wonder if they realize that Camaro is bleeding out faster than they planned and are resurrecting projects that were underway but cancelled when they dropped everything to chasing BEV.
