Performance mode engaged?

Hi all,

When I was testing my car out on a private mode for 0-60 timings I noticed the car would flash with performance mode engaged.

I was able to see this is due to the car being in sport mode however I cannot find what this actually does as the only thing i noticed is that it kept the car is higher RPM when I slowed down.

Any ideas?

It holds a higher rpm/lower gear to eliminate the need to jump down 2,3,4 gears for performance driving, such as on a track and to reduce the need for a brake (or as much brake) when going into curves and more power when exiting curves

If you're talking about what shows up on the gauge cluster, it actually says "performance shift active" or something like that
