15% off was offered last March and this March it’s only $1750 cash back, which is a joke as they’re offering $1250 on 2020s. I doubt we will see 20% off this year and probably won’t next year either since the 2020 MY was short to begin with. I’m starting to think the fire sales on leftover 2018s were a one-off, there doesn’t appear to be nearly as much inventory glut this year. Dealers obviously weren’t expecting sales to tank like they did and they’re not likely to get caught with their pants down again with a slow-selling car that’s soon to be discontinued.

Basically the choices for buyers right now are see how things play out, try to talk a dealer into a best price.

We’re staring down the barrel of a global recession and dealers are adamant that their old stock of 2019s are still worth 90+% of MSRP with 2021 orders right around the corner.

None of this makes sense.

Agree. I have a couple dealers working pretty hard to sell me 19’s, but the best Chevy will do is allow a ford guy to buy the same car for $2,000 less, lol. 2020 Hellcat built to order for almost even money wins. Especially when I have to ‘settle’ for a color on the Camaro.

I'm still seeing how things play out but it's not looking good. I really wish they would do an owner loyalty for Chevy folks.

I've contacted several dealers about a 2020 SS 1le and none are willing to negotiate. I just don't like the 2019 front ends.

Shop harder..... I was at a little over 3k off an ordered car. With current incentives it should be about 12-13% off on the exact car I ordered, can't complain. Not a lot of stock out there period.

The GM card deal expires 3/1. That is when my car is being built. Hopefully they extend it.
