Bass loss after changing speakers

Just some background info. Car is a 2018 1ss 1LE. So as you all know there is no factory amp or noise cancelling bs. I thought the car sounded ok but a little flat. So I changed out the front 6x9s and rear quarter 6.5s. I put in some Polk 450w 3 way speakers for the front and JVC 2 way 150w in the rear. Dynamatted key areas and foam surroundings the usual stuff. The highs and kids are great and sound a bit louder and clearer but I noticed the bass wasn't quite there anymore. I guess the oem speakers play different frequencies than the ones I bought. Not a big deal as I am planning to add a 12" sub anyway.

Just more as a heads up if anyone just wanted to change out their speakers and expect a better sounding stereo. Adding an amp to the speakers will definitely help but I'm not going that route.

Happy modding
